Teenager Kevin Katchadourian (Ezra Miller) is in prison after committing a massacre at his High School and killing his father and little sister using a high tech bow and arrow set. His mother, Eva (Tilda Swinton), a once-succesful travel agent, lives alone in a run-down house and works in a mall travel agency in a town near the prison where she visits Kevin. She looks back at her memories of him growing up as she tries to cope with the anger and hostility of her neighbors, who know her to be Kevin's mother. Her memories are shown in flashbacks.

The film is a film-within-a-film, wherein Kermit the Frog and the rest of the Muppets create havoc in a screening room, where they are about to watch The Muppet Movie. When asked by Robin if the film depicts how the Muppets began, Kermit responds "It's sort of approximately how it happened."

The bosses of the European drug cartel meet in the French Riviera to discuss a new threat emerging from Asia. Don (Shahrukh Khan) is jeopardizing their business because he is able to sell drugs at a much lower price to their customers. The bosses send word out that Don must die. Don has been living in Thailand for the past five years and goes to a remote settlement to pick up a shipment of cocaine. Instead of a normal transaction, Don has to fight his way out because the more powerful European dealers want him dead. He then inexplicable goes back to Malaysia where he surrenders to Roma (Priyanka Chopra) and Inspector Malik (Om Puri).
Upon release, the film received mixed reviews, however the performance from lead actors Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma and the direction of Maneesh Sharma have been praised. Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra's cousin, Parineeti Chopra, has made her acting debut in the film and most critics have praised her highly for her acting skills.Taran Adarsh from Bollywood Hungama gave the film 3 out of 5 stars and said: "Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl is, at best, a decent fare, which appeals in parts. The film starts well, even ends well. It's the in between that's plain ordinary.
The film opens with Reshma (Vidya Balan) running away from her house to Chennai a day before her marriage. She tries her best to get a role in a movie as a side dancer but is eventually insulted by the casting director for being unattractive and useless. However the determined Reshma goes to the film shoot to convince him once again thereby grabbing the role of a side dancer. She wears revealing outfits and dances with whips to the most erotic dance movements and expressions. Annoyed by this is the film's director Abraham (Emraan Hashmi) who is confident of his own creative art in film-making and does not believe in cheap tricks of displaying erotic and sensual content on screen.
Desi Boyz is the story of two friends, Jerry alias Jignesh Patel (Akshay Kumar) and Nick Mathur (John Abraham), who live in London and who are hit hard by recession. Jerry does odd jobs for a living as he is an undergraduate but Nick has a white-collar job. However, both find themselves jobless due to the economic downturn. Jerry has a little, school-going nephew Veer (Master Virej Desai) to look after as the child has lost both his parents. Nick is to marry his girlfriend, Radhika Awasthi (Deepika Padukone), who dreams of a lovely wedding, a great honeymoon and a wonderful house to live in after marriage.
The film opens showing a large crowd outside the famous Verona Arena, Italy, with eager fans queuing outside the arena for the concert of rock star Jordan (Ranbir Kapoor). Jordan, who moments ago was being attacked by thugs, manages to escape and reach the arena. He breaks the fan barriers and shows complete disregard for his fans, storms onto the stage in a fit of rage and starts strumming his guitar.
